We could find that one thing, make the appropriate course correction and viola; presto, change-o, you’re an overnight success!! Puh-leeez.

The one place to start is in your mind. Thousands of years old wisdom literature points to the ‘renewing of our minds’. The way that we think will dictate how we act, and that will dictate (in large part) our results. If you think you can do it, you usually will and if you think that you can’t, you are right . . . you can’t.

People with a “success” mindset will do whatever it takes to achieve their ‘desired outcome’. They will find folks that have succeeded and pick their brains. They will ask successful people how they did it. They will read everything that they can about success. They feed the vision of their ‘desired outcome’ with massive action.

All action is not good action . . . but no action is a sure recipe for failure.

For many, the why is clear but weak. “I want to make tons of money”. This is not a why that will sustain most of us through the challenges of creating a successful business.

Get your why and write it down. Put as much detail as you can to your why. Attach some emotion to it. What is it going to feel like when you attain those goals? What will it look like? How is it going to change your life and the lives of those around you? Make a bunch of copies of your why and plaster it all over the place. On your bathroom mirror and on the closet door. On the fridge. Carry a copy with you and put one on the car visor. Now read it four or more times during the day. Everyday. Especially right before you go to sleep.
