My Extreme Financial Makeover

Day 1
MoneyI don't know about you, but I don't want to have to work 2 jobs till I'm 60 to just barely make it.... but end up being forced to retire at 50... Then retirement will only last me till I'm 70... Sorry but I plan on living a long full life!

So if you haven't figured it out by now...I've ditched that old idea! I deserve better! We all deserve better!

I'm a firm believer in if you want it done right, then do it yourself! Take control of what YOU want YOUR LIFE to be. No one will ever care more about your dreams than you. Sure they'll be supportive, but its not their dream its all YOURS. Therefore only YOU have the passion to make it happen.

I'm only 27 and I already know better than to depend on the government, or to depend on retirement.... more than likely when I need it, it won't be there. Big surprise right?

Right now we have a HUGE opportunity to turn things around. Are you going to take it?

We have a fantastic service to offer our local businesses! I wish adJango would have been around 5 months ago because if it was then maybe I wouldn't of had to watch my favorite businesses, that have been around my whole life and part of my parents, close their doors for good. Local business owners are who make our communities... Don't get me wrong I love big chain stores, but those stores only care about the bottom line, they could care less if they had a relationship with you. I love the feeling of walking into my favorite bakery and they all know my name, and really know me, and care about my experience in their shop, not just because they want to keep me as a customer, but because they care.

Well I care about them too, so guess what? I'm going to do everything I can to keep them around, so one day I can take my children and grandchildren there.

After deciding to take my community by storm...I got out my 3 trusty phone books. I called 65 businesses... 60 requested to be mailed more information and to follow up in a week. So between calls I was sealing my pre-made adJango mailer packets and throwing an address label on. By 1:30pm I had 40 envelops ready to be sent out. Plus I have 20 more ready to go out today.

I also hired my first sales associate yesterday!

Warning...this is the easiest thing in the world to do, but you will face some people who are just having a bad, or some who really are not nice. So pay attention to who you are speaking with...if its a bad day try to cheer them up, and with the not so nice people some times you just gotta lay the facts out..."look either you want more business or you don't, I can help you or I can help your competitor...you pick." Usually that gets their attention real quick.

That's it for day 1...I gotta get back to setting up my call list for day 2

So stay tuned....

Love your comment: this is the easiest thing in the world to do! It IS! This is a great service to small businesses -- and it is so easy to approach like a business and have ZERO (practically) rejection. This is as close as it comes to really being a business where "you just stuff envelopes and make money"!!
